Eubank Family Home
April 1947 - December 1957

3820 Wyoming Street, Kansas City, Missouri

Eubank family home in 1947. It was the original farm house in that section of town. It was set back from the street more than the other houses and apartments. There was a very large front yard and no back yard. The house still stands in October 1999.

February 5, 2000 Norman Brandal and I went to a used book store on 39th Street. Afterward, we stopped by 3820 Wyoming to take some pictures. There was some construction work going on. We found that the old home had been purchased by Vernon Leat of Ten Pin Video Productions. The garage and "sun room" that connected the garage to the home were to be preserved but the house itself was being taken down.

I had a very nice conversation with Vernon and he taped an interview about my memories of growing up in this home between 1947 and 1957.
