Canoe trips of Donald A Eubank 1963 -1973

My brother Bill  started canoeing with the Hedges, see Canoe Trips of Bill Eubank,   our families attended the same church.  My Mother and Father, Adelaide and Dr. Will R. Eubank, were not canoeists but would drive down of some the the Thanksgiving trips and help prepare the food the the Thanksgiving dinner and shuddle cars.  My first trip I was a passenger with the Hedges on a Thanksgiving trip 1963.  I do not know for certain but believe we has a family membership soon after the club was formed.  I sought out anyone what would have me as a partner, often it was Nancy Jack.   As A boy scout in Troop 145 and with the Raytown High School Cave Club I canoed and soon was bring my friends to the OWWC trips.  I soon bought my own 17 foot Grumman, $169.  At Ottawa University I bought my brother's car, a 55 Chevy, went canoeing as often as possible.  I acquired a camera in 1968 started taking pictures the trips.
