Karen Stephens would like some help in identifying some of these pictures. Her father Henry Konsdorf served in the army during WWII. Some of the service was in Alaska and the Aleutian area. She has pictures of his - that are not labeled. The first two pictures may be of Elmendorf - the second two from the Aleutians - and the last three (including the one that says 607th Bomb Sqd.) are unknown.

December 16, 2002 Since our last conversation, I have found out a little more about my father. He was with Squadron "G" 420th AAF Base Unit, Instead of the 607th. That is what is on his discharge papers. He served from June 26, 1941-October 12, 1945.Any idea where that was? Keep up the great job on the website. GOD BLESS Karen Konsdorf-Stephens

If anyone can help, please write to Karen or myself William@Eubank-Web.com.
